Knoxville staff participate in Walk Me Home 5k

Knox Walk Me HomeStaff from the Knoxville office, along with friends, family and even dogs, recently participated in the 6th Annual “Walk Me Home…to the place I belong” 5K walk presented by the National Foster Parent Association. Catelyn Dake finished first among the team, with Sarah Wooten coming in a close second. The foster care staff also set up a table to inform walkers about Youth Villages’ foster care program and encourage them to become foster parents. The Walk Me Home 5K was a great way for the community to learn about foster care and raise money for foster care programs. It also allows people to support children in foster care, even if they are unable to become foster parents.
