Representatives from Specialized Crisis Services across the state of Tennessee recently gathered in Nashville to celebrate the program’s 10 year anniversary. Youth Villages CEO Pat Lawler, Tennessee Executive Director Charmaine Kromer and SCS Director Dawn Puster were all on hand to celebrate with the group. The celebration continued with a Mexican fiesta in Johnson City and a party in Chattanooga. In addition, eight employees are celebrating 10 years of serving on the front lines in Specialized Crisis Services. Throughout the state of Tennessee, the SCS staff provides assessment and evaluation of children and youth, up to age 18, who are experiencing a psychiatric emergency.
