Mississippi staff compete in kickball challenge

In the spirit of friendly competition, the Care Coordination team of Youth Villages in Mississippi challenged other central Mississippi staff to a game of kickball a few weeks ago. Billed as Care Coordination vs. The World, the  hard-fought match was held near the shore of the Ross Barnett Reservoir at Lakeshore Park in Brandon. Umpired by the astute and stern whistle-blowing Amy Adams, Assistant Director of Mississippi Programs, the game featured fierce play — and a little good-natured trash-talking.

The Care Coordination team prevailed by a score of 12-9 before the competitors put aside their rivalry and grilled a picnic lunch. It was such a smashing success for the entire YV Mississippi team, they hope to make it an annual event.
