Eleven employees at Inner Harbour recently completed the Emerging Leaders program. The program is designed to motivate staff, help them develop their leadership skills and learn about Youth Villages as an organization. Each group completes a six month curriculum and concludes the program with a campus-wide group project. Past group projects have included a silent art auction, a campus-wide field day, Christmas community donations, motivational speakers and a campus-wide recycling project. The eleven employees were honored by the entire Inner Harbour Campus with a graduation ceremony. They received a plaque with their picture that will be hung in the main lobby. The 11 graduates include teacher-counselors Jernica McNeil, Stephen Ventre, Deven Rudy, Fredrick Hoxie, Kimberly Heard and Charles Burgess; supervisors Octavius Darby, Joanna Smith, Adam McKenzie and Kenneth Burton and therapist Shereka Jackson.
