Youth Villages is looking for great social workers and counselors interested in relocating to beautiful Boone, N.C. We provide intensive community-based counseling services to at-risk youth and families utilizing the Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST) model. Our organization has been named as top 50 nonprofit to work for two years in a row. Boone has been named one of the best small towns in America by many different sources (USA Today, Outside Magazine, and National Geographic Adventure). The town is well known among outdoors enthusiasts as the area offers top-notch cycling, mountain biking, skiing and snowboarding, hiking, kayaking, white water rafting, rock climbing, and backpacking! If you prefer to stay on the pavement, the town offers a great downtown area and numerous cultural amenities such as an 18th century living history museum, a robust arts and crafts community, great shopping and dining, a local farmers’ market, Appalachian State University, and a wide variety of concerts and music festivals!
