Youth Villages’ West Tennessee employees place third in Marathon for Memories relay

Youth Villages’ employees from West Tennessee offices including Paris, Dyersburg and Jackson, along with some of their friends and family members, recently participated in the first annual Marathon for Memories relay in Trenton, Tenn. The race was organized by local DCS psychiatrist Dr. Mark Finton to raise money for Special Needs Athletics, an organization that provides support and opportunities through various sports to for special needs athletes and their families. Youth Villages’ 13 team members ran a total of 26.2 miles alongside teams made up of local schools, agencies and community members. The YV team, “The Village People,” finished in third place and independently raised more than $700 to benefit Special Needs Athletics.
