Oregon employees pedal across Portland’s bridges

Youth Villages employees in Oregon recently took in views of Portland from atop several of the city’s bridges during the 17th annual Providence Bridge Pedal, the third-largest organized bike ride in the nation. The 17 employees joined more than 19,000 bikers of all ages and fitness levels for a day of outdoor fun that supported Providence Health & Services, a valuable donor to Youth Villages. Team members could choose from three courses that allowed them to bike across six, eight or 10 bridges along the Willamette River. The Youth Villages team members stood out and showed their YV pride in matching t-shirts. The event was a great way for staff members to get exercise, have fun and bond as a team.
