Teacher Development Program for Recent Graduates

Youth Villages has a new Teacher Development Program beginning this summer at Youth Villages. We are looking for recent Bachelor-level graduates (graduating between December 2011 and before August 2012) to start in our pioneer YV 360 Teacher Development Program. This is a phenomal opportunity to have the ultimate Youth Villages employment experience, while bridging the gap between college and career. The program is designed specifically to help you achieve your career goals as an educator while giving you experience teaching and making an impact in the lives of youth. The program is a one year commitment to teaching youth in Residential treatment at Youth Villages in Memphis, TN. While assisting in the classroom, you will also learn skills specific to working with a population that has severe emotional and behavioral problems. You will learn to be a leader in the classroom and sharpen your teaching skills. The goal of our program is also to develop your career as a Teacher at Youth Villages, so you are able to stay on full-time after the year of the program concludes.
